DPD2014 and DPD2002 - Final quality check of the data is completed. The related web pages are refreshed.
The DPD team of the Debrecen Heliophysical Observatory announces that the final version of Debrecen Photoheliographic Data for the years 2014 and 2002 has been published recently. Although the preliminary version of these datasets published earlier had undergone some quality control but some further systematic checks and improvements had to be applied to present this final version of the data. These are probably the last volumes of DPD that have been published after this type of final check because the revision of the preliminary data within the DPD project has not been supported any longer according to the recent decision of the director of our institute. Any improvements of the old data in DPD or production of any additional data can only be expected in the frame of future research projects of Tünde Baranyi. The DPD team continues publishing of the latest sunspot data based on the space-borne SDO/HMI data and based on the observations of the cooperating ground-based observatories until it is possible.

DPD2016 sunspot catalogue is started and newest daily data available on web and ftp site after processing. Quick-look data are measured and calculated using SDO/HMI Ic_NolimbDark_720s_nrt and M_720s_nrt images by Joint Science Operations Center (JSOC). Sunspot groups identified by NOAA numbers and we do unification and separation of sunspot groups in some case. Tilt angles of sunspot groups queryable here and also available on ftp place.

Several years of DPD have been completed recently (1977-1985, 1991-1992, 2011-2013).
Now there are no days with missing sunspot data after the cease of Greenwich Photoheliographic Results.

SDO facular catalogue 2014 is uploaded and available on HMIDD page.

DPD1982 and DPD1983 - some missing days are filled in and it is partially revised. Full-disk images are available in jpeg format.

SDO/HMI - Debrecen Sunspot Data refreshed for the year 2014, (HMIDD) txt catalogue and html presentation available with Full-disk and Magnetogram images, and sunspot polarity drawings are available additionally.

DPD2012 and DPD213- The data sets are complete and final.

Greenwich Photoheliographic Results (GPR) revised, converted to the DPD format, and completed with solar drawings of Ogyalla, Kalocsa and Mount Wilson observatories. Data and the html presentations are not final yet; they will be changed later. We have calculted some additional values (Julian date, P0, B0) but we have found some mistakes which are under check.

The whole spot area was indicated as U+P earlier but it seemed confusing sometimes. The acronym has been changed to WS (WHOLE SPOT area) and WF (WHOLE FACULAR area) in the related sunspot and facular data bases.

DPD1980 - some missing days are filled in and it is partially revised. Full-disk images are available in jpeg format.

Additional tool added to the SDO presentations for 2010, 2011 and 2013. This tool helps to study and to look sunspot positions and their polarities.
SDO/HMI - Debrecen Sunspot Data (HMIDD)

New data are added to fill in some gaps. Full-disk images are available in jpeg format on the ftp site and in the visual presentation for the year 1978 of Debrecen Photoheliographic Data.

SDO/HMI - Debrecen Sunspot Data (HMIDD) uploaded. New full-disk and facular catalogue for 2014 are uploaded with SDO/HMI jpg continuum and magnetogram images. Data are processed until 2014.04.30.

A new page is created to inform the visitors of the data products of the Heliophysical Observatory (Debrecen, Hungary). News on data refreshments, uploaded new data, or web site modifications are available here.
