Revised version of Greenwich Photoheliographic Results (GPR) sunspot database
converted to DPD format and completed with solar drawings of Ógyalla, Kalocsa and Mount Wilson observatoriespublished by Baranyi, T. and Ludmány, A.
The Greenwich Royal Observatory compiled the Greenwich Photoheliographic Results (GPR) sunspot catalogue between 1874 and 1976. In 1976, the Debrecen Heliophysical Observatory took over this responsibility
and now the Debrecen Photoheliographic Data (DPD) covers the years after 1973. The present version of GPR database is created from the electronic version of GPR for sunspot groups published at
NOAA National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC) and the
UK Solar System Data Centre (UKSSDC) after some data revision. The presentation of data is completed with the solar drawings of
Hungarian Historical Solar Drawings
(Konkoly Observatory at Ógyalla,
Haynald Observatory at Kalocsa) and
Mount Wilson Observatory.

The digitization of the drawings of Konkoly Observatory at Ógyalla has received funding from the European Community"s Seventh Framework Programme (FP7/2007-2013) under grant agreement No. 218816 (SOTERIA, Nov. 2008 - Oct. 2011). The Mt. Wilson 150-Foot Solar Tower is operated by UCLA, with funding from NASA, ONR and NSF, under agreement with the Mt. Wilson Institute.
